A stunning and unusual diamond and pink sapphire bypass ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in14kt yellow gold and platinum,the piece features a sparkling old EuropeanCut diamond and vibrant pink sapphire nestled together atthe center, forming a stylish "Moi et Toi" ("Me and You") design. Each stonerests in a platinum 6-prongsetting, while the band is yellow gold, creating a lovely mixed metals appeal. The diamond and pink sapphire individually weigh 0.55ct each, with thediamondexhibiting H color and VSclarity, and the sapphire displaying an intense hot pink hue. Completing the design is a smoothly polished band that graduates slightly towards the back, and stamped inside ofthe shank is a "14K" purity mark. Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5,but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the stonesrest approximately 1/4" above the finger. The tapered band measures approximately 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellowgold and platinum setting. Both the diamond and ruby are intact and securely set.
